A Magical Medieval Fayre awaits

A little mystery, a little madness and a lot of magic!

HEAR YE HEAR YE HEAR YE! COME ONE, COME ALL!
Avaunt all ye merry, and join the magical medieval fayre!
We invite minstrels, strolling players, stilt walkers, fire dancers and all manner of buskers and barons, knights, jousters, fair maidens and their steeds to join us for a midsummer night of merriment!

In association with media partner Mix 93.8 FM, Johannesburg is invited to travel back in time to experience the magic of the 5th annual Magical Medieval Fayre.  On the 3rd of September 2016, we encourage the young at heart to embrace their inner Lannisters and Starks and join us for this midsummer’s day filled with dreams and fantasy at Inanda Country Base in the heart of Kyalami.

Knights in shining armour, fair damsels (in not so much distress), warlocks, wenches, ruffians and rogues, handsome steeds and huge hunting hounds will invade the picturesque Inanda Country Base.
This year we also invite those in love to celebrate their day with us and participate in an authentic handfasting!
There is something to do and see for the entire family (both two-legged & four!)

TO SEE: Vegetable Justice Medieval games, Battle Heritage SA Swordfighting, weapons and knife smithing at the forge, Archers, Birds of prey, TORUS Fire & Flow fire dancers, East vs West medieval tourneys, The King’s Court and so much more!
TO DO: Medieval Games, Role playing games, Fight a Knight with Battle Heritage, shoot arrows with Troll Bow Project archery, play the Geek of All Trades Challenge, take part in the Medieval Fancy Dress contest and more.
TO EXPERIENCE:  Royal banquets, the Stocks, archery, ‘dragon’ and ‘unicorn’ rides,  Ye Olde Village Market (potions, dragons, rarities, armoury, gems, collectibles)  and more.
South African craft brewed ales and a multitude of food stalls feed aspiring knights and weary travellers.
